Suncoast unveils its new brand ambassador – Nour Al Jabri

Meet Nour Al Jabri, Suncoast's new brand ambassador and a prominent figure in the world of interior design. Armed with a master's degree from Florence, Italy, Nour is not only an accomplished designer and lifestyle influencer but also the familiar face behind the design segment on MBC 1's 'Sabah al Khair Ya Arab.' As a proud parent, Nour brings a unique blend of creativity and warmth to every project she undertakes, earning her recognition as a two-time Index Ambassador and a sought-after name for celebrity home makeovers.

Tell us a little bit more about yourself. 

My journey in interior design led me to complete my master's degree in Florence, Italy. Currently, I wear the hats of an interior designer, a lifestyle influencer, and the host of the design segment on the popular Middle East channel, MBC 1, during 'Sabah al Khair Ya Arab.' As a proud parent of two wonderful kids, Adam and Celine, I value the strong bond we share. During my free time, I immerse myself in various interests, from traveling and listening to piano music to reading psychology books and spending quality time with friends. Exploring new places, especially those with beautiful beaches and sunsets, brings me immense joy.

Throughout my career, I've achieved notable milestones, including being a two-time Index Ambassador in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. I've had the privilege of undertaking home makeovers and styling for celebrities such as Abed Fahd, Shaza Hassoun, Joelle, Noor Stars, Ossy Marwa, Basel Khayat, Saif Nabeel, and many more. Exciting projects continue to unfold on the horizon. An intriguing tidbit about me is that I possess a unique talent—I can read palms. Born with this ability, people often enjoy hearing what I can tell them from their palms. 

How did you get into becoming a home decoration expert? 

Interior design has always been my passion. I used to envision myself creating beautiful homes and drawing inspiration from the accomplished designers in my city, admiring their work. Despite my dad's desire for me to study pharmacy for a more secure future, my heart was set on becoming a designer. I firmly believe that pursuing your passion is one of the most rewarding paths to a successful future

And this experience seems to have seamlessly led you to become a TV host – tell us more about that journey?

Like any other student, I graduated and began my job search. While I did find employment, I couldn't help but feel that sitting behind a screen in an office wasn't truly fulfilling my passion. I thrive on meeting people, expressing my design ideas, managing teams, and embarking on travel adventures to bring my creative visions to life.

I always had this inner voice telling me that I should do something related to design while also helping people make their homes beautiful with small touches. In 2019, I decided to start vlogging. One day, I was vlogging in a furniture store, and the owner noticed my stories, then reached out to me via Instagram. They asked for my number because they were sponsors for the morning show on Sky News Arabia TV and wanted to host me as a guest.

The experience went well, and they appreciated my style and how I create beautiful setups while discussing designs. This led to me hosting a weekly segment called 'El Manzel' on Sky News Arabia for almost two years. Later on, I had the opportunity to join MBC Sabah Alkhair as well. 

Now, you’re a Suncoast ambassador. Why did you decide to say yes to this partnership?

I must admit, I’m already quite fond of the title. ????

I decided to partner up with Suncoast simply because our design values align. One of the most challenging aspects of the outdoor furniture industry is durability – will it stand the test of time and the unique weather conditions of the region? As Suncoast is a homegrown brand, it has a deep understanding of these factors and for years have developed products that are optimally suited for the needs of this market. Home furniture and accessories are an investment. It’s not enough that they look good, they also have to pass the test of longevity.  

Overall, collaborating as a social media interior designer with Suncoast will open up numerous great opportunities for both me and the brand.

What are you most looking forward to as the Suncoast ambassador? 

I'm most excited about the opportunity to creatively blend my passion for interior design with the Suncoast brand. Being the ambassador allows me to showcase innovative design concepts and connect with a broader audience. It's a chance to inspire and make homes more beautiful and comfortable for people in the Middle East. 

What is the most important tip you’ll give someone who’s designing their outdoor space? 

The key tip for designing your outdoor space is to make it both pretty and practical. Think about the weather and choose durable materials. Make sure it's comfortable for hanging out and for making beautiful memories outdoors.
